No smite-based energy items? - Guild Wars Forums

The PvP characters do not have access to smite-based energy boosting items. Is this intentional? Do these items even exist in the game?

fairly positive I've seen smite gear drop, and sold it myself to vendors

you sure the pvp toon had smite at 9 or higher? the pvp toon items require a skill be 9 before having access to the associated items.
